I don't usually report on the raffles I see online, because they're generally always looking to profit those who organize them.
But my friend Manolo, the creator of the excellent YouTube channel Aventuras Entresierras, has a very different way of seeing things (I wish his example would catch on). Today he published a video organizing a raffle titled "Clean Forests," which rewards doing something for the common good. He explains it himself in the video (the video is in Spanish; you can activate the automatic English subtitles in the bottom bar of the player):
You'll find the details to enter the giveaway in the video description (click here). Whether you participate in this giveaway or not, remember that forests are part of our cultural heritage, and keeping them clean is something we can all contribute to. Educating children about this is very important. It's especially sad to see people leaving their trash in forests and mountains, as if they didn't care about dirtying what belongs to everyone. We have to do everything possible to eradicate this uncivil behavior, and digital tools can also help us do so. Congratulations to Aventuras Entresierras for this idea.
