Going to the movies always involves a certain risk. There are movie trailers that promise much more than what you actually get.

'Mercy', a science fiction film that addresses the possible judicial use of AI
Nuremberg and the terrible evidence of the evil behind the nazi crimes

On the other hand, there are films that give you a bad feeling and are exactly what you least expected: a dud. Finally, there are some films you don't expect much from and go see purely for entertainment, and they end up being much better than you expected. Yesterday I went to see "Crime 101", a feature film by a British filmmaker, Bart Layton, about whom I knew absolutely nothing. The film has a good cast, with Chris Hemsworth in the lead role, Mark Ruffalo playing a police officer, Halle Berry as an insurance agent, and Barry Keoghan as a very violent thief.

I must admit I thought I was going to see a new version of the "Transporter" franchise, but that's not the case. The film has some very good chase scenes, but it's more than that: a good cops-and-robbers movie that grabs you from the opening scene, which is quite atypical for this genre. The story is based on a good plot, and the three actors mentioned are very good in their roles. I especially liked the soundtrack, composed by the British Blanck Maas, which is quite reminiscent of the Jason Bourne films.

The film is 140 minutes long, but they flew by, which I think is a good sign. I left the theater very satisfied because this film turned out to be much better than I expected. While not a masterpiece, I found it to be a very good action and suspense film. It's worth seeing. Here's the trailer:
