Those places are usually filled with good memories, and when you talk about them, it's not the same as when you talk about any other place. In those special places, it's as if you leave a part of yourself behind every time you leave, to find it again someday when you can return. This article is about one of those places, belonging to a dear friend, Caracortada, author of the magnificent YouTube channel Aventuras Entresierras (which I highly recommend you subscribe to).

The name of this channel refers to a place located between the Sierra Nevada and the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara, and Alhama, a beautiful wooded area in the province of Granada. There lie the ruins of a cortijo, as rural estates, generally associated with agriculture and livestock farming, are known in southern Spain.
