We have a new film in the cinemas from the successful science-fiction franchise Star Wars, with two protagonists already known to fans.
"The Mandalorian" series has been a considerable success on Disney Plus, and now it's coming to theaters with a feature film starring the Mandalorian and Grogu. The film repeats the formula that contributed to the series' success: great adventures, plenty of action, a good story, and above all, none of the ideological nonsense that has plagued some Disney productions for years.
The director of this film is Jon Favreau, who returns to the director's chair after becoming a famous actor with his role as Happy Hogan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Pedro Pascal reprises his role as the Mandalorian, with the same success as in the series. The cast also includes a veteran actress well-known in the science fiction genre: Sigourney Weaver, who at 76 years old remains a stunning beauty.
The film is long (2 hours and 12 minutes), but it flies by, which I think is a good sign. It's good and entertaining, and it doesn't disappoint. I left the theater as happy as I was after watching all three seasons of the series. I recommend it. You can watch the trailer here:
