Cinema has already addressed in several feature films the possibility that all of humanity would disappear and only one person would remain on Earth.
Years ago, making a film like that involved a huge investment in sets and special effects. Today, artificial intelligence significantly reduces the cost. A few days ago, Causality Labs released an interesting short film, titled "Alone After People," about a man who is left alone in the world after all of humanity suddenly vanishes.
This is the plot description: "It was just another ordinary day when, suddenly, everyone vanished, except one person. Now, he must survive in a world where nature is reclaiming the planet. At first, he lives off the remnants of civilization. But as time passes, the world around him begins to change. An original sci-fi short film written and produced by Causality Labs." The short was made with AI, but I thought it was very well done.
You can see some screenshots from the short film here. The image quality is surprisingly good; it's astonishing how much AI has advanced in just a few years. However, some text still appears distorted, a detail that current AI systems are working to fix.
