Putin's terrorist regime continues to try to exterminate Ukrainian civilians, crimes that deserve to be classified as genocide.
In the early hours of Monday, July 6, Russia launched a new massive attack against the civilian population of Ukraine, using 419 aerial weapons (68 missiles and 351 drones of various types). The Ukrainian Air Force managed to shoot down 363 targets (37 missiles and 326 drones). Once again, Ukrainian defenses prevented this attack from resulting in hundreds or thousands of deaths, but every missile and drone that is not shot down represents a human life lost.

At 9:25 CET, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported that approximately 30 residential buildings were hit by the Russian attack on Kyiv. The impact of one of the Russian projectiles on one of these residential buildings can be seen above. At 12:06 CET, the DSNS reported that 12 people had been killed and 49 wounded, including 5 children. The final death toll and number of wounded will likely be higher, as some buildings have been reduced to rubble and rescue operations are ongoing. The following video shows the state of some of the residential buildings attacked by Russia:

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has addressed a message to NATO: "Protect Ukrainian children from Russian ballistic terror! No task is more urgent. This is our main message to the NATO summit this week. As world leaders are departing for Ankara, I wish they heard what families in Kyiv heard this night. One of the most brutal attacks with dozens of ballistic missiles. A horrific cannonade of loud explosions one after another. Russian terrorists struck sleeping civilians, targeting residential high-rises to maximize casualties. In one of the districts, an entire killed family has been taken out of the rubble: mother, father, and child."
🔴 Waking up to the news that in Kyiv, rescuers found a leg near a destroyed building. 11 killed, 45 injured, numbers growing. 20 locations hit; Shahid drones attack now
In Odesa, an attack, destruction, fires, injured
In Kherson, at least 10 drones attacking residential areas. pic.twitter.com/XdiPqdilS0

Sybiha added: "Putin’s message to Ankara is simple: he is going to point ballistic missiles at sleeping children and continue the murder as long as he can. What will the leaders of the Alliance respond? This is not the time for weak steps anymore. They will only encourage Moscow to continue and expand terror beyond Ukraine. The strongest outcome of the Ankara Summit is to increase Ukraine’s capabilities to protect our children from Russian ballistic terror. We need real steps. PAC-3 missiles were created to serve the goal of protecting people from such barbarism. There are thousands of them in storage around the world, kept for potential threats. But the threats in Ukraine are not potential! Russian missiles are killing people every week. Ukraine is currently the only country in the world facing ballistic attacks every single week. The means of protection from this terror need to be here. And we need all decisions on air defense now, not later. Because for us, the time is measured in human lives."
The death toll in Kyiv has risen to 11 people after the Russian attack.
46 more people injured.
So many tragedies brought upon us by the Russian scum.

Furthermore, I repeat what I already said here last week: what more has to happen for Spain to accuse Russia of terrorism and genocide? The latest massive Russian attack against Kyiv last Thursday didn't even elicit a message of condemnation from the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, who today has still not said anything about last night's Russian attack. So far, the Spanish government, a coalition of socialists and communists, has not once accused Russia of terrorism or genocide, an attitude that contrasts sharply with its harsh attacks against Israel, a democratic country that in 2023 faced the largest terrorist attack in its history. How much longer will Sánchez continue to exhibit this double standard and pay this ideological price to his pro-Russian far-left allies?
+ UPDATED 7.7.2026 17:02h: STRATCOM reports that rescue operations have concluded and that the death toll from this Russian attack has risen to 19 dead, including a child, and 61 injured, including 7 children.
