A few days ago a Democrat politician justified the infanticide of newborns

Scandal in the USA: the left-wing blocks a law against infanticide in the Senate

The Democratic Party, which represents the center-left in the United States, is offering alarming signs of perversion and inhumanity. The last one was given yesterday in the Senate.

A bill to protect babies who survive an abortion

In mid-January, 38 senators - led by Republican Ben Sasse - presented a bill to protect the lives of babies who survive an abortion. As I indicated here in December 2016, it is estimated that some 40,000 babies survive an abortion in the USA each year, and either they are killed after birth or they are left to die, which is already an infanticide. This is a downward estimate, since it was done on the 400,000 abortions perpetrated annually by Planned Parenthood's abortion network, but it must be taken into account that more than 600,000 induced abortions are performed every year in the United States.

"We're talking about killing a baby that's been born"

In relation to his bill, on January 31, Sasse explained it this way: "I'm going to ask all 100 senators to come to the floor and be against infanticide. This shouldn't be complicated." The Republican senator spoke openly to defend his proposal: "Let's be clear what we're talking about. We're talking about killing a baby that's been born. We're not talking about some euphemism, we're not talking about a clump of cells. We're talking about a little baby girl whose been born and is on a table in a hospital or a medical facility and then a decision or a debate would be had about whether or not you could kill that little baby." With these last words, Sasse clearly referred to the controversial statements in favor of infanticide made the previous day by the Democrat Ralph Northam, governor of Virginia, who even deserved the criticism of President Donald Trump, who described as "terrible" the words of the governor.

The Democratic Party blocks the bill in the Senate

It was planned that the bill against the infanticide of babies was voted on Monday in the Senate, but it could not be. As reported by The Washinton Times yesterday, senators of the Democratic Party have blocked the project "spurred by Ralph Northam comments." That is, instead of condemning his apology for infanticide, his party mates have decided to join him. It is really monstrous. Senator Sasse responded to the blockade of the Democrats by pointing out that there are only two sides in that debate: "You're either for babies, or you're defending infanticide." For her part, the Democratic Senator Patty Murray justified the blockade saying that this project is unnecessary because there are already legal prohibitions on infanticide. She forgot to say, however, that there is practically no legal control over infanticide committed in abortions, which is what the project sought to solve.

Marco Rubio: "extremism has become mainstream in the Democratic Party"

According National Review published yesterday, the leader of the Republican majority of the Senate, Mitch McConnell, had already warned before knowing the blockade: "If they do inexplicably block Senator Sasse's effort, I can assure them that this will not be the last time we try to ensure that all newborns are afforded this fundamental legal protection." As reported by LifeNews, after the blockade of the Democrats, Republican Senator Marco Rubio has declared: "That Senate Democrats would block a bill to protect a baby who survives an abortion speaks volumes. Supporting a newborn's right to life should not be a partisan issue. Unfortunately, Senate Democrats, like their colleagues in Virginia and New York, seem to have no issue publicly supporting legal infanticide. It is clear that, on the issue of life, extremism has become mainstream in the Democratic Party."
