Russian State Duma threatens Poland to be the next attacked after Ukraine

This is what the Polish Prime Minister has transmitted through his Twitter account:

"There was an explosion in Przewodów in the Hrubieszów poviat, as a result of which two of our compatriots lost their lives. My thoughts are with their families and loved ones, we will not leave them alone. An extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers has just ended, during which the crisis situation was discussed.

In the last few hours, the President of Poland, myself and the Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs have spoken with our partners in NATO and the EU. First of all, we decided to increase the combat readiness of selected units of the Polish Armed Forces, with special emphasis on airspace surveillance in an enhanced way, together with our allies.

We are conducting discussions with our allies on the potential use of Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which launches consultations within NATO. We check the conditions that can serve for this article to be used.

We have decided to summon the ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are in constant contact with the Ukrainian government. The president spoke with President Zelenski and I am in contact with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

Together with the Minister of the Interior, we raised all services: Polish Police, Border Guard and State Fire Brigade, to a state of increased readiness, as well as other services, including special services.

I appeal to all Poles to remain calm and be especially careful about disinformation attempts. We must be prepared for fake news and propaganda and information attacks. Chaos is Russia's weapon. We must rely solely on facts.

I also appeal to the entire political class for moderation and responsibility. In these difficult times, we must show the unity of the Poles and that we understand what Polish raison d'état is all about."

Article 4 of the NATO Treaty states: "The Parties will consult together whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the Parties is threatened."

On the other hand, Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released this statement an hour ago:

"On November 15, 2022, another massive shelling of the entire territory of Ukraine and its critical infrastructure, conducted by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, took place for many hours. At 15:40 in the village of Przewodów in the Hrubieszów poviat in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, a Russian-made missile fell, resulting in the death of two citizens of the Republic of Poland. In connection with this event, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zbigniew Rau, summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and demanded immediate detailed explanations."

02:52h CET: Reuters notes that NATO ambassadors will meet this Wednesday at the request of Poland, on the basis of Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty. "One of the diplomats said the alliance would act cautiously and needed time to verify how exactly the incident happened", said the aforementioned agency.
