The socialist leader abandoned the King and fled the protests against the Govt

The anger of the people of Paiporta, the courage of King Felipe VI and the cowardice of Sánchez

This Sunday, the King of Spain, the Queen and the president of the Government visited the town of Paiporta, in Valencia.

For the government it was more 'urgent' to assault RTVE than to send the Army to save lives
Pedro Sánchez took 4 days to order a large military deployment and justified it by lying

This town has been one of the hardest hit by the catastrophe of the cold drop of October 29. The time and place of this visit had not been previously announced for security reasons, due to the chaos that has occurred in the affected areas. Sanchez has imposed his presence on this visit, perhaps in an attempt to shield himself behind the King, but the plan has gone very wrong. What the delegation found in Paiporta is an outburst of anger from the residents, many of whom have been without electricity or running water since Tuesday.

After the government's poor management, one of the images that has caused the most indignation among the residents of Paiporta is that of Pedro Sánchez smiling, next to the King who showed a serious face:

The situation became very violent, with neighbors throwing mud and objects at the procession:

Faced with this situation, the entourage was split in two: Sánchez abandoned the King and fled the scene, accompanied by his security team. As seen in the following videos, the King and Queen's entourage remained on the street. With them remained Carlos Mazón, the president of the Valencian Community, who was also part of the entourage.

As seen below, people continued to heckle Sánchez as he abandoned the King and left the area:

The moment of greatest tension came when some people attacked Sánchez's convoy's vehicles with kicks and sticks, breaking windows and denting their bodies:

You can see here two photos shared on Twitter in which we can see the state in which one of the vehicles in Sánchez's motorcade was left:

While Sánchez fled, the King and Queen remained in the area, ignoring the advice of their security service, which had recommended that they leave the place. Despite the great tension, Felipe VI and Letizia tried to calm the neighbors' spirits, listened to them and hugged them:

Despite the evidence, the media close to the government are presenting this as a protest against the King: this is a lie. The protest was against Sánchez, for his poor management of this catastrophe, leaving thousands of residents of the affected areas abandoned for days without water or electricity, and who have been enduring robberies and looting. The King has acted today with admirable courage and Sánchez has behaved like a coward.

Otherwise, Sanchez declared this afternoon that the protest was by "absolutely marginal elements". The reality can be clearly seen in the images you have just seen: what there was today was a protest by residents of Paiporta outraged by the government. It is shameful that Sanchez still has the nerve to say that they are "marginal".

Finally, Carlos Mazón has indicated that he remained with the King until he left Paiporta, and has published a message on Twitter stating: "I understand the social indignation and of course I stay to receive it. It is my political and moral obligation. The King's attitude this morning has been exemplary".
