For many years I have been watching videos of adventure enthusiasts who decide to spend a night in the most unusual places.
I have to admit that Canadian adventurer Steve Wallis has just earned a top spot on the list of weird places to spend the night. In a video posted a few days ago, he shows a water pipe in the middle of a lush forest (he doesn't say where it is, presumably Canada).
According to him, the pipeline was built with concrete segments and has been abandoned and unused since the 1970s. It was probably built more than a century ago. It stopped being used because half of the water was lost along the way due to leaks, and was replaced by a more modern pipeline.
The funny thing about this case is that thanks to a follower of his channel, Wallis found an access hatch and decided to spend the night there, but of course, cleaning it a bit and spraying it with mosquito repellent. "Was a fairly chilly night camping in the pipe but I survived! It was an extremely fun adventure and cool to see abandoned infrastructure like this", he comments. Here is the video:
You can see some screenshots from the video here. The pipe in the middle of the forest is already a very curious image. It is as if it were an archaeological remnant of a disappeared civilization.
Here we see the access hatch to the pipe. This is where Wallis decided to spend the night.
Wallis doing some light work on the pipe with a folding shovel. Honestly, as I watched the dark pipe stretching out beyond, the first thing that came to mind was this question: will an alien appear?
