The places a Dutch couple found in Spain looking for adventure

Spain is the second most popular country in the world for tourists from all over the world as a vacation destination.

A spectacular off-road route through the Sierra de Gádor, its mines and its refuges
El Caminito del Rey, a vertigo route along a pedestrian walkway attached to a gorge

Many tourists come to Spain attracted by its pleasant climate, beautiful beaches, fabulous cuisine, and abundant cultural treasures. However, more and more are coming looking for alternative tourism, one that gets away from the crowds to discover the abundant natural treasures that Spain has to offer. This is the case of a Dutch couple and their dog, Lewie, who have traveled to different parts of Spain in a Toyota Hylux SUV (a bearded guy, a pretty girl, a dog, and an SUV... It's like the Dutch version of Aventuras Entresierras).

These Dutch explorers had just completed a long journey through North Africa. They began their journey through Spain in Algeciras, reaching the Gorafe Desert, Granada, the Sierra Nevada, the Sierra de Cazorla, and the Tabernas Desert. They then crossed through Portugal to the most beautiful region in Spain, Galicia, as everyone knows, and ended their journey in the Picos de Europa. On June 1, they published a video of this wonderful journey on the YouTube channel Lewie and the Rover:

Here we see the Tabernas Desert, in the province of Almería (Andalusia), whose landscapes are very famous for having been the filming location of numerous movies.

Cape Finisterre, at the western end of the province of La Coruña (Galicia). The lighthouse at its top was inaugurated in 1853 and is still in operation, projecting a white light with a range of 23 nautical miles.

We conclude with this beautiful image of the Picos de Europa, a mountain range that stretches between the regions of Asturias and Cantabria and the province of León (in Castile and León). What we see here is the Piedra de la Llomba, also known as Llomba del Toro, a 3,000-ton errant block located in the town of Camaleño, Cantabria.
