On Monday, September 15, the newspaper El Debate published a story that would have led to political resignations in any other country.
El Debate, in a news article by Alejandro Entrambasaguas, an excellent investigative journalist, noted: "Sánchez's brother lived hidden in Moncloa while pretending to be in Portugal to pay fewer taxes". Early on Wednesday, the same outlet published another news item signed by Entrambasaguas, with this headline: "Moncloa put a medicalized vehicle from the Presidency at the service of Sánchez's Japanese sister-in-law for her gynecological check-ups".
Let us remember that the brother of the president of the government, David Sánchez, is being prosecuted for two crimes: prevarication and influence peddling, for having obtained a public job expressly created for him because he is the brother of who he is. Now, in addition to this, we learn that he was living in a palace at the expense of all Spaniards.
On Wednesday, the government refused to provide explanations for the events reported by El Debate, stating: "We are not going to comment on who is staying at the president's family residence". That same day, in the government oversight session in the Congress of Deputies, First Vice President María Jesús Montero did not respond to a question from a Vox MP on the matter, instead focusing on attacking Vox and the Popular Party without saying a single word about the incident reported by El Debate.
As they have been doing for some time, the government and its affiliated media are using their hate campaign against Israel to cover up events like this and other corruption scandals involving the socialists. In addition to Sánchez's brother, his wife, his attorney general, two of his former ministers and the delegate are also being investigated. of the Madrid government, the same one we saw a few days ago cheering on the violent ultra-leftists who disrupted the final stage of the Vuelta a España in Madrid.
In the end, the Palestinian flag is becoming a curtain that serves to cover up the political corruption of this government, to distract the Spanish public from the serious political, institutional, economic and social problems that socialism has caused in Spain and to try to keep afloat a left that is sinking in the polls, pushed to the bottom by the weight of its ineptitude, its mismanagement and its fanaticism.
Today we must remember that many leftists have been speaking contemptuously of the Spanish flag for decades, insulting those of us who proudly display it as one of our country's symbols and referring to it as a "rag" that deserves no respect. This is the same left that now uses the Palestinian rag to cover up its shame. Of course, they are going to need a colossal Palestinian flag to hide so many scandals and make people focus on this political hook and not on the very serious things that are happening in Spain.
