Although many media outlets have already silenced them, Contando Estrelas continues to show the protests that continue in Spain for the 19th consecutive day.
The reason for the protests is the pact between the Socialist Party (PSOE) and the fugitive Puigdemont, which aims to grant an amnesty to those convicted and prosecuted for crimes of corruption, public disorder and terrorism, attacking the separation of powers and equality before the law. The pact also threatens national unity by opening the door to a referendum on separation from Catalonia. You can see today's protests here.
After yesterday's absurd police action, confining the protesters to the sidewalks, today the protest was able to once again take place on the entire street. The journalist Vito Quiles, illegally arrested yesterday, has been received with applause and has been carried on his shoulders. Photo: @PabloSaezAM.
