A Russian attack murders a girl in Ukraine, while the extreme left remains silent

Less than 24 hours after yesterday's attack on a passenger train, the Kremlin has launched a new massive attack on Ukraine.

Once again, Russia has directed its attacks against civilian targets, especially in western Ukraine, especially the city of Lviv, near Poland. The Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office has reported that the Russian attack has murdered four people from the same family, including a 15-year-old girl. "Another family member, as well as two residents of neighboring homes, with injuries of varying severity, were hospitalized in medical facilities. Three more victims received treatment on-site," the Prosecutor's Office said.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that this Russian attack began at 8:00 PM on Saturday using 549 aerial vehicles: 496 Shahed and Gerbera attack drones, two Kh-47M2 "Dagger" aeroballistic missiles, 42 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles, and nine "Kalibr" cruise missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force managed to shoot down 478 of these aerial targets: 439 drones, one Kh-47 M2 "Dagger" aeroballistic missile, 32 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles, and six "Kalibr" cruise missiles.

This morning, the President of Ukraine denounced: "The Russians struck with cruise missiles, “shaheds” and Kinzhals among other things. The Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa, and Kirovohrad regions were all targeted. As of now, it is known that about ten people were injured in the attack. Sadly, five were killed. My sincere condolences to everyone who lost loved ones to this terror."

Volodymyr Zelensky added: "We need more protection and faster implementation of all defense agreements, especially on air defense, to deprive this aerial terror of any meaning. A unilateral ceasefire in the skies is possible – and it is precisely that which could open the way to real diplomacy. America and Europe must act to make Putin stop."

In the early evening, the Ukrainian president lamented: "Russia is openly trying to destroy our civilian infrastructure right now, ahead of winter – our gas infrastructure, our power generation and transmission. Zero real reaction from the world. We will fight so that the world does not remain silent and so that Russia feels the response."

This lack of reaction is especially scandalous on the far left, which continues to protest against the State of Israel in rejection of its military operations against Hamas terrorists. This radical left has not called a single demonstration to denounce Russian terrorism in Ukraine. Let us remember that at the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion in 2022, the far left refused to condemn this aggression in the European Parliament and then wanted to make Ukraine allow itself to be humiliated by Putin, surrendering to the invaders, a a solution that curiously rejects for the Hamas terrorists, who were the ones who started the current war in the Middle East.
