Sánchez is negotiating Spain's future with a criminal who wanted to break up our country

A criminal sentenced to 13 years in prison for sedition and embezzlement

Yesterday it was the turn of a national criminal: Sánchez received the Catalan separatist Oriol Junqueras at La Moncloa, the palace that serves as the official residence of the president of the government. It should be remembered that in 2019 Junqueras was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the crimes of sedition and misuse of public funds, the latter aggravated due to its amount, in relation to the coup separatist of October 1, 2017, an attempt to break the unity of Spain and undermine the constitutional order by Catalan separatism.

The government's corrupt acts to erase that criminal's record

In 2021, Sánchez granted a pardon to Junqueras as payment for the support of his party, ERC, to the government, an indecent exchange of favors that is a form of political corruption that socialism has made commonplace in Spain in these seven years that the PSOE has been in power. In 2024, twisting the arm of the rule of law once again, Sánchez granted amnesty to Junqueras and the others involved in that coup as payment for ERC's support of Sánchez's re-election, thus committing, as I already denounced on this blog, the biggest act of corruption in the history of Spain, since in his Article 62 The Spanish Constitution expressly prohibits general pardons.

As if that trampling of the rule of law wasn't enough, yesterday Sánchez took another step and agreed with Junqueras on privileged funding for Catalonia at the expense of the poorest regions, which will have to pay more taxes so that Sánchez can remain in power (which is the socialist leader's main concern) and so that the Catalan regional government, formerly in the hands of the separatists and now in the hands of the socialists, can continue squandering taxpayers' money and degrading the unity of Spain, which is clearly undermined by agreements that grant privileges as payment for the politicians' disloyalty. separatists towards Spain.

A kick in the teeth to the national law of the same country that invokes 'international law'

The same Sánchez who these days insists on invoking "international law" to come to the aid of the socialist dictator and drug trafficker Nicolás Maduro, captured by the United States on January 3 to bring him to justice, now gives another kick to national law, to those laws that must be equal for all (in accordance with what Article 14 of the Constitution affirms and what is required in any democratic country), making a pact for the future of Spain with a criminal who wanted to break up our country and granting privileges to some Spaniards over others. It is scandalous.

Of course, this is not the way a democratic government should govern: it's the behavior of a mafia, a criminal organization that —like the dictator Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela—believes the country belongs to it and that it can do whatever it pleases, flouting the Constitution and the laws and laughing at the Spanish people day in and day out. For things like this, Sánchez deserves to end up in prison, because he leads a corrupt government that demonstrates not the slightest respect for the rule of law, and that is intolerable in any democracy.
