This Thursday "Top Gun: Maverick" premiered, a sequel to the famous 1986 film about the elite of the United States Navy fighter aviators.
Taking advantage of the expectation generated by the film, the Spanish Air Force has published an excellent video in which it shows, in less than a minute, some images of the work of its fighter pilots, distributed in five fighter wings (the 11th of Morón, the 12th of Torrejón, the 14th of Albacete, the 15th of Zaragoza and the 46th of Gando) and equipped with EF-18 Hornet (a fourth generation fighter, the Spanish version of the predecessor of the F/A-18E Super Hornet that appear in the film) and with Eurofighter Typhoon (a fifth generation European fighter, the same as the Super Hornet). The Spanish Air Force points out that they are real images:
This Thursday, five Spanish Air Force pilots participated in the special screening for the press of "Top Gun: Maverick" at the Filmax Gran Vía cinemas in Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). This spectacular video was broadcast before the film. A good way to promote the pilots who watch over the airspace of Spain 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
