The aberrant ideological drift of the left has been exposed in a parliamentary session held this Thursday in the Congress of Deputies.
They defend rights for animals and deny them to certain humans
Today's Congress plenary session had scheduled for this morning several debates on legislative initiatives. Among them two initiatives have been debated, both proposed by the coalition government of socialists and communists, to defend animals (the first one speaks of "protection, rights and welfare of animals" and the second includes criminal measures against "animal abuse"). Just after they another government initiative to reform the abortion law was discussed, which claims that killing unborn children is a "right" and seeks to create blacklists of doctors who refuse to commit that atrocity.
During the parliamentary debate on these initiatives, the left has gone from launching messages so that we feel compassion for pets, and even so that we consider them part of our own family (as Pablo Echenique, deputy of Podemos), to then adopt an attitude of absolute coldness and insensitivity towards unborn children, simply ignoring them in the debate and denying their condition as human beings, as if they were part of the mother's body, like someone talking about a nail or a pimple of pus.
Congress mentions the "dignity of animals" but hides unborn children
In the early afternoon, the Congress has informed simultaneously of the rejection of the amendments to the totality against these three initiatives. The official statement highlights the government's purpose of "regulating the recognition and protection of the dignity of animals by society" and of "reinforcing the criminal protection of animals". However, when talking about the reform of the abortion law, eliminates all mention of unborn children and calls the act of killing them "sexual and reproductive rights."
Vox accuses the left of defending a "true savagery"
During her speech, the Vox party deputy Lourdes Méndez recalled that "killing a human being can never be considered a right" and described the proposal as "true state violence" and "true savagery" of the left to unprotect unborn children to allow them to be killed. Méndez has also denounced that this proposal in favor of abortion is made in the same parliamentary session that proposes to protect animals: "value and protection that is denied to a human being with the purpose to humanize the animal and dehumanize the human being. They do it on the same day, with total provocation. It is a real challenge and it is cruel".
