An informative work that is the result of a commitment to Freedom

One year and 585 posts in four languages talking about the Russian invasion of Ukraine

Tonight marks one year since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The first post on this blog about the invasion was published at 6:09 a.m. on February 24, 2022.

During the last year, this blog has published 585 entries in four languages about the invasion of Ukraine:

Writing, publishing and disseminating those 585 articles has not generated any benefit for this blog, which is not supported by any government grants. One of the raisons d'être of this blog is the defense of Freedom, and that is precisely what the Ukrainian people have been doing for a year against the Russian invasion. Of course, this blog is neither neutral nor equidistant between the aggressors and the aggressed. I am fully on the side of the Ukrainian people and will continue to support them until all Russian troops are withdrawn from Ukraine.

For me this is a matter of principle. So, my support for Ukraine will continue regardless of whether it generates likes or dislikes for me and this blog. My defense of Freedom is not subordinated to the applause or rejection of anyone. I end these lines in the same way that I ended my first entry on the Russian invasion: sending all my support to the people of Ukraine in the face of this aggression.

Слава Україні!
Glory to Ukraine!
