A route through some formidable ruins and caves in the north of Seville

This is the case of our friends at Aventuras Entresierras, the best Youtube channel about exploration urban (I recommend you subscribe), this time they have traveled to the north of the province of Seville to see some very interesting sites, specifically an abandoned cement factory in the town of Villanueva del Río and Minas, the spectacular caves of the Cierro del Hierro and the abandoned Hermitage of the Virgin of the Kings of Villanueva del Río and Minas (the video is in Spanish, you can activate the automatic subtitles in English in the bottom bar of the player):

You can see here some captures of the video. We begin with an aerial view of the "Guadalquivir" factory, now abandoned and in ruins. As indicated by the website of the City Council of Villanueva del Río and Minas , the construction of this cement factory began in 1945 at the initiative of the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation. It was only in operation for 20 years, since it closed in 1976. Many years later, in the second half of the 1990s, a cork factory was installed there. Unfortunately, the factory it was destroyed by fire on February 24, 2002. Today it is completely in ruins.

Here we see a beautiful image of Cerro del Hierro, located between the towns of San Nicolás del Puerto and Constantina, in the Sierra Norte of Seville. It is an area rich in iron, hence its reddish color, which became an important mining operation already in Roman times. Impressive tunnels and caves survive from its mining past that give this place a magical aspect.

The Hermitage of the Virgen de los Reyes in Villanueva del Río y Minas. I am sorry to say that I have hardly found any information about this Catholic temple, now abandoned. In the video you can see it outside and inside.
