I am not in the habit of watching the Eurovision Song Contest, which is a mixture of bad music and bad taste, with a few honorable exceptions.
A campaign of lies to cover up Hamas crimes
Yesterday I made an exception and watched the ceremony just to see how Israel looked. The anti-Semitic left and Islamists had been pressing for days for the Israeli singer Eden Golan to be excluded, using as an argument a false accusation of genocide whose purpose is to cover up the crimes of Hamas, a terrorist organization that attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, perpetrating the largest massacre suffered by the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
If we remove all the disguise of hypocrisy, in practice the message that anti-Semites want to send to the world is that Jews should allow themselves to be murdered without defending themselves, as happened during the Holocaust. This is a campaign of moral misery that is difficult to overcome, a campaign that turns the aggressors into victims and those attacked into culprits, simply because the anti-Semitic left and the Islamists accept all of Hamas' lies as good. to cover up their crimes.
A campaign that in Spain is fueled by the government
There are European countries where this infamous campaign has come from the highest levels. In Spain, this hate speech against Israel is fueled by the government, some of whose ministers - especially the communists - spread the hoax of the "genocide" in Gaza with the same fanaticism as the dictatorships of Iran and Syria. It is not at all strange if we take into account that the Communist Party of Spain, to which Vice President Yolanda Díaz and Minister Sira Rego belong, has public links with the Palestinian terrorists of the PFLP, that on October 7 they celebrated the Hamas attack on Israel, that is, the murder of more than 1,500 people (including children and babies), the kidnapping of more than 250, and the torture and rape committed by these savages .
The singer from Israel was the most voted in 14 countries, including Spain
Yesterday, that discourse of the anti-Semitic left, which has many media on its side, received a reality check from those who make history. Following the boycott campaigns of anti-Semites against the Jewish State, Israel came in 12th place with the votes of the juries and was the second country with the most televoting, that is, the second most supported by citizens from their homes, behind Croatia and ahead of Ukraine (bad news for Hamas and for Putin, which I'm glad about).
Specifically, the singer from Israel was the most voted in 14 countries: Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, San Marino, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland and Australia.
In addition, Israel was the second most voted option in 7 other countries: Albania, Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Moldova, Slovenia and Ireland.
As a result, finally Israel came in fifth place, and at some point during the night it even came in first place.
Many Europeans make it clear that these anti-Semites do not represent us
As expected, the far left has become furious. Last night, even before the results were known, Vice President Yolanda Díaz asked to take "measures" against Television Española for broadcasting that contest, which she described as "an act of propaganda in the middle of a genocide". What should happen immediately is the cessation of this communist that slanders a democratic country that suffered a terrorist attack, using a hoax to criminalize Israel and fuel that dirty hate campaign. Lying like that cannot come for free to any ruler in a democratic country.
Furthermore, with this Eurovision Song Contest the difference between public opinion and published opinion has been proven once again, between those speeches that certain politicians and certain media sell to us as a kind of unique thought which cannot be disagreed with, and the reality of the street. Last night, many Europeans made it clear that these anti-Semites are a minority and that their hatred does not represent us. Our duty, now, is to take advantage of the upcoming electoral events to throw these fanatics out of the elections. democratic institutions with our vote. And for the moment let's enjoy the tantrum of those Judeophobes with Israel's good result last night in Eurovision.

NOTE: I mistakenly indicated that there were 11 countries that gave Israel the highest score. There were actually 14. I just corrected that.
