A new example of the permissiveness and complicity of Pedro Sánchez's government with anti-Semitism and Palestinian terrorism.

The Sánchez government has authorized for this Sunday a march in Madrid that has been called by Masar Badil, an organization that Israel links to Hezbollah terrorists and the Islamist dictatorship of Iran. This march will take place just one day before the first anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, in which 1,200 people were killed, including children and babies, and which also left 240 people kidnapped and women raped and tortured by the terrorists. It was the largest massacre suffered by the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

As can be seen on the group’s website, on October 7, 2023, Masar Badil supported the Hamas terrorist attack, referring to the terrorist organization’s name for the attack, "Al-Aqsa Barrage". In a manifesto published that day, Masal Badil called Hamas's horrendous crimes against men, women, children, and babies "a chapter in the battles for dignity and pride."

This is not the first time that the Sánchez government has done something like this. In January, the government authorized an anti-Semitic march called by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which appears on the European Union's list of terrorist organizations. The authorisation of this terrorist march was criticised by the Israeli government, which recalled that the PFLP is "an active Palestinian terrorist organization, recognized as such by Israel and other Western countries, including the EU and Spain itself. However, we are witnessing the PFLP and its representatives acting openly in Spain."

As if authorizing this march were not enough, the communist minister Sira Rego attended this demonstration to show her support. Spain has the only government in the European Union that authorizes calls by terrorist groups and also supports them with the presence of a minister. The complicity of this government with Palestinian terrorism exceeds all limits of what is tolerable in a democracy. Sanchez should answer to justice for this.
