The disaster caused by the cold drop in several regions of Spain is the worst that has been recorded in the country in decades.

So far, 72 dead have been counted, making it the third deadliest natural disaster in Spain's history. In the face of this catastrophe, social initiatives are being launched to collect help for the victims. You can see a list of these initiatives below. I will expand it as more data comes in. Cáritas Valencia

Caritas has launched a campaign to respond to the emergency caused by the severe flooding in Valencia and Albacete. On its website it lists these two account numbers:

Valencia CF

Valencia Club de Fútbol has offered its facilities to volunteers from the Valencia Food Bank to collect citizen contributions to help all those affected by the cold snap. The Valencia CF and Valencia Food Bank space will be set up at the entrances to the Mestalla stadium on Avenida de Aragón. More information on the Valencia CF website.

Revuelta, Joventuts Valentia, Espacio Ardemans, Estudiants pel Canvi

These organisations are collecting aid for those affected by the cold snap. They are asking for shovels and buckets, blankets and sleeping bags, long-lasting food, drinking water, basic necessities (diapers, wipes, shampoo, hygiene products) and clean, well-maintained clothing. They have the following collection points for this aid:

• Valencia: Calle San Juan Bosco, 48 (from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).
• Madrid: Calle Lucas Mallada, Local 2, Metro San Blas (from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). Calle de Ardemans, 66 Espacio Ardemans (from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.).
• Barcelona: Calle Costes de las Farigola, 32 Sentmenat (until 19:00h).
• Pozuelo de Alarcón: Calle de Segundo Mata, 1 (Renfe Pozuelo). Leave the help on the portal.
• Toledo: Calle Talavera de la Reina n°4 Buca Bar. Barrio Santa Teresa (from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.).

Vox headquarters in the cities of Pontevedra and Vigo are collecting drinking water for those affected by the cold snap. Here are the details:
