Several terrorists participated in the violent acts supported by the Sánchez government

This fact was reported last night by the newspaper El Mundo, which states that the National Police "identified on Sunday afternoon a total of nine people convicted of ETA terrorism" who were seeking to join these protests in Madrid, which ultimately ended up disrupting the last stage of the Vuelta a España.

El Mundo points out that "all of them had traveled to Madrid from the Basque Country expressly to try to "disrupt" the sporting event". The newspaper also points out that some of these ETA members "have been in prison for belonging to the kale borroka", the street terrorism organized by the terrorist group's entourage, as well as for "causing public disorder and collaborating with the terrorist group".

The news item in question indicates that the ETA members were located by the Civil Guard in the Sierra de Madrid. The terrorists were "perfectly organized" with the aim of causing disturbances in several municipalities. They had chartered several buses to carry out these disturbances in the Community of Madrid.

Furthermore, El Mundo adds: "The agents also identified several men linked to jihadist terrorism with completed sentences." The aforementioned media outlet points out that specifically nine terrorists were identified in Callao Square, where the violent protest that managed to disrupt that stage of the Vuelta a España was organized.

Let us remember that the PSOE praised this violent protest, attributing it to the "people of Madrid" and without making any criticism of the attacks suffered by cyclists and police at the hands of these left-wing extremists. Are the "people of Madrid" a few hundred left-wing radicals supported by ETA terrorists and jihadist terrorists, gentlemen of the PSOE? The Sánchez government and his party must now explain whether they knew about the presence of those convicted of terrorism in this violent protest that they first encouraged and then praised.

Harsh criticism of Sánchez's government from the International Cycling Union

We are talking about a protest that has already caused great damage to Spain's international image, as was made clear yesterday in a harsh statement from the International Cycling Union (UCI) which states:

"Since the race arrived on Spanish soil, the Vuelta was disrupted almost daily by militant actions: individuals intruding into the peloton, throwing urine, endangering riders, and causing physical harm, with some of them crashing, suffering injuries, and being forced to abandon the race. Faced with these incidents, the race organisers reacted quickly and calmly, putting emergency measures in place to ensure the continuity of the event. They acted with exemplary professionalism, respecting the autonomy and independence of sport.

The repeated acts that affected a significant number of stages constitute a serious violation of the Olympic Charter and the fundamental principles of sport.

We also regret the fact that the Spanish Prime Minister and his government have supported actions that could hinder the smooth running of a sporting competition and, in some cases, expressed their admiration for the demonstrators. This position is contradictory to the Olympic values of unity, mutual respect, and peace. It also calls into question Spain's ability to host major international sporting events, ensuring that they take place in safe conditions and in accordance with the principles of the Olympic Charter.

The UCI strongly condemns the exploitation of sport for political purposes in general, and especially coming from a government. Sport must remain autonomous to fulfil its role as a tool for peace. It is unacceptable and counterproductive for our sport to be diverted from its universal mission. Moreover, there are dedicated platforms where countries can discuss their differences."

What a shame what this government is doing to Spain's reputation, sinking it into the mud and all to cover up its corruption scandals.
