The extreme left could be defined as cynicism turned into a political movement, as we have been seeing lately.
Yesterday I commented here the case of a pro-Russian communist union attacking Israel falsely accusing the Jewish state of "genocide" and today we can see yet another example. A few months ago I already spoke here about the so-called "Sindicato de Estudiantes" (Student Union), a mere cover for a Trotskyist communist organization called Izquierda Revolucionaria (Revolutionary Left). Yesterday, that far-left student group called a strike with a sign with Palestinian flags calling for "stop the genocide", the new blood libel that the far left and their Islamist friends have invented to criminalize the Jewish people.
A few weeks ago I already spoke here about the origin of this antisemitic hoax, which consists of falsely accusing a country, Israel, of "genocide," which two years ago suffered the largest antisemitic massacre since the Holocaust, a massacre that the far left has not called "genocide" and has not even condemned. Let us remember that the far left also refused to condemn ISIS's genocidal crimes against Christians and Yazidis in Iraq. The strategy of these extremists is already well known, but its reiteration encourages me to recall it: Communists have a habit of inventing genocides while refusing to condemn real genocides.
Let us remember, without going any further, that four years ago the entire Spanish parliamentary left voted against the European condemnation of the crimes of communism and Nazism, because socialists and communists refused to accept that the millions of victims of communist genocides had the same human dignity as the millions of victims of the genocide perpetrated by the national-socialists. They are the same ones who then come to boast of defending "human rights", as long as they are not the rights of the victims of a socialist or communist dictatorship, of course.
That is exactly the case of the "Student Union." That far-left organization that yesterday falsely accused Israel of "genocide" organized 14 tributes to Vladimir Lenin in April and May 2024, the first communist dictator, an unscrupulous man who established a reign of terror that murdered more than a million people in six years, using the most brutal methods of repression and torture. Although some mistakenly consider him to be the "good guy" compared to the bad guy Stalin, the truth is that Lenin was the first communist genocidal maniac, although some of his successors ended up killing many more people than he did (as the aforementioned Stalin did in the USSR and Mao in China).
Of course, a communist group claiming a fake "genocide" is just as brutally cynical as a nazi party, because after all, those two political movements were the biggest mass murderers of the 20th century. What next? Ku Klux Klan demonstrations accusing Israel of "racism"?
