The socialists have turned RTVE into a media outlet dedicated to promoting hatred against those who do not share the phobias of the left.
The latest target of these hate campaigns has been Hakuna, a Catholic musical group who committed the serious "crime" of singing Christmas carols in the Puerta del Sol a few days ago, invited by the Community of Madrid. Faced with something so normal, so legitimate, and so harmless, RTVE's propagandists have reacted like the girl in the movie "The Exorcist" and have labeled Hakuna "ultra-Catholic", "ultra-Christian" and "neo-Catholic" (¿?). And all that for the mere fact of singing Christmas carols.
Things change when we talk about Islam. On October 7, the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas murdered over a thousand people in Israel, including children and babies, torturing and raping many of the victims. Several hundred people killed that day were attending a music festival. Ismail Haniyeh was the head of Hamas at the time of that terrorist attack. On July 31, 2024, that criminal was killed by the Israel Defense Forces. The following day, RTVE described Haniyeh as the "leader of the moderate wing" of Hamas, in a news report that did not refer to the group as a terrorist organization even once, despite its designation as such by the European Union.
For some time now, it seemed clear that for the left to speak ill of a Catholic, that Catholic only has to profess their faith peacefully, following Christ's commandment to love one's neighbor as oneself, without harming anyone, while for the left to speak ill of a Muslim, that Muslim must commit murder. Now not even that: a terrorist leader who murders hundreds of Jews is a "moderate," according to RTVE (a public broadcaster controlled by the most antisemitic left in Europe), a broadcaster that describes a Catholic group singing Christmas carols with words prefixed with "ultra," as if it were talking about a group of nazi skinheads.
It's worth remembering that the PSOE, the leftist party that controls that public broadcaster, has supported legalizing the crime of glorifying terrorism, claiming that praising criminal organizations like ETA and Hamas is "freedom of speech." What really infuriates that same left wing are Christmas carols. And then socialists and communists are still surprised that they're losing young Spaniards...
