TVE simply accepts the death tolls offered by Hamas but questions those of Israel

TVE questions Israel's figures and disguises Hamas' figures

This afternoon, the journalist Masha Gabriel has denounced the double standards that TVE uses to publish the death tolls published by Israel and those published by Hamas. In a published information This morning at 9:17 Spanish peninsular time, TVE has stated the following:

"Since Israel began the ground offensive on October 27, 158 Israeli soldiers have died and 2,023 have been injured, according to Army data. At RTVE.es we cannot verify the veracity of this information, provided by the Israeli Army."

This warning does not appear in any of the Hamas figures broadcast by TVE. As Masha Gabriel also pointed out, yesterday TVE broadcast this other information:

"Hospitilities broke out on October 7 between Hamas and Israel after the terrorist group's attack that left some 1,200 dead and 250 kidnapped. Since then, the number of victims in the Strip has already risen, according to the health authorities of the Palestinian enclave, to 20,674 dead and 54,536 injured."

When TVE refers to "the health authorities of the Palestinian enclave" it is actually referring to Hamas, which is the terrorist group that controls the Gaza Strip, including its so-called "Ministry of Health." But despite being a terrorist group that has committed all kinds of atrocities against Israeli civilians and that has already spread hoaxes on many occasions, TVE does not warn of its impossibility of verifying those figures, because unlike In Israel, which is a democratic country in which freedom of information exists, in Gaza there is a dictatorship in which Hamas controls all information.

The Sánchez government already accepted a Hamas hoax in October

The clear bias exhibited by TVE is nothing more than a reflection of the policy of Pedro Sánchez's government, whose hostility to Israel was praised by Hamas terrorists in a statement released on November 25. Let us remember that on October 18, the Sánchez government already accepted a Hamas hoax, which falsely claimed that Israel had attacked a hospital. The hoax was used by the communist partners of Sánchez's government to ask to "suspend diplomatic relations with the State of Israel." As of today, more than two months after, the Sánchez government has still not rectified its support for that hoax.
