Sánchez counter-programmed the euthanasia of a girl to prevent it from being discussed

A scandal that has crossed the borders of Spain

The girl, named Noelia, was killed yesterday afternoon in a hospital, a horrific crime protected by an infamous law passed in 2020 by the Sánchez government and its partners, a law that is being used by the government to get rid of ALS patients, denying them aid and pushing them to ask for euthanasia.

This execution —a word the socialists have censored in Congress, in yet another example of the purely Orwellian drift of the Spanish left— of a 25-year-old woman has caused a shock in Spain and other countries. What kind of State does Spain have? That's what many have been asking themselves for hours. A State that takes a girl away from her parents, leaves her unprotected in a dirty foster home, and finally suffer a group rape and attempt suicide, causing herself serious injuries. Noelia's case is yet another example of the failure of the political policies of the Spanish left, policies that destroy lives... literally.

Proponents of euthanasia are beginning to change their minds

In recent days, the case of Noelia has generated much criticism of the government and the euthanasia law promoted by the left, which has culminated in a purely grotesque situation: the death penalty is applied to the victim, while it is not applied to rapists. Yesterday, associations for people with disabilities demanded a review of the law to prevent euthanasia from being requested due to a lack of resources, which is exactly what the government has been causing with ALS patients. Some defenders of the euthanasia law have begun to change their minds after seeing the case of this young woman. Meanwhile, a pro-government newspaper lamented the media exposure of this case, for obvious reasons: it has exposed the inhumanity of that law.

Noelia's euthanasia was scheduled for six in the evening

Yesterday at midday, the time of Noelia's execution was already known: six in the afternoon. The hours leading up to the application of a lethal injection to a rape victim, simply because she was depressed, gave way to growing outrage reminiscent of the hours before the murder of Miguel Ángel Blanco, a PP councilman kidnapped by the terrorist group ETA and murdered with two shots to the back of the head in 1997 after an ultimatum from that criminal organization.

Yesterday at La Moncloa, they must have realized that Noelia's euthanasia had gotten out of hand. One of the laws the Spanish left boasted about most was revealed for what it truly is: an atrocious law that offers assisted suicide as a solution for depression. Meanwhile, the government's media supporters dismissed all the efforts of educators to discourage suicide among children and young people, trying to justify the case of a girl who was offered not help, but a lethal injection.

Sánchez unexpectedly announced a press conference for the same time

At almost 5:30 p.m., Sánchez announced, without prior notice, a press conference for 6:00 p.m. to communicate changes in the government. A press conference without questions, to prevent journalists from raising uncomfortable issues (a common practice with this government), and convened at the same time as Noelia's scheduled execution. Of course, the announcement and the chosen time were not a mere coincidence. The government has a long history of using smokescreens to create distractions. Sánchez was trying to counterprogram Noelia's execution to prevent it from being discussed and to generate headlines for the government.

Other times that tactic has been successful, but this time the distraction didn't work well. The national and international attention generated by this case was too great. The reaction of a pro-government media outlet presenting Noelia's death as a victory only served to worsen matters and reveal that Spanish socialism has become a destructive sect that speaks of a girl's death as if it were a triumph. An ideology typical of psychopaths.
