The Putin dictatorship has been using its propaganda networks for several years to disguise its aggression against Ukraine as a "liberation."
The facts are graphically refuting these lies of Russian propaganda, showing images of cities like Mariupol and Bakhmut after being razed by the Russians. Despite these facts and the horrendous crimes that Russian forces have been perpetrating in Ukraine, the Kremlin and its propagandists insist on demonizing the defenders of Ukraine and those who support them, attributing to them all the responsibility for this illegal and unprovoked invasion against an independent country, an invasion motivated by Putin's imperialist fanaticism, which aims to resurrect the old USSR by means of a weapon that the Soviet dictatorship used with great effectiveness: terror.
In the last few hours we have seen new images of what the Kremlin understands as "liberation." Yesterday, through its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian Ministry of the Interior released five photos of the city of Chasiv Yar, in the Donetsk Oblast, in eastern Ukraine. The ministry has included this text:
This is what Chasiv Yar looks like today. About 13,000 people once lived in this town. But after the Russians came, only a desert remained...
Fighters of the Donbass Battalion of the 18th Slavic Brigade of the NGU are heroically defending the town, repelling daily enemy attacks.
In Chasiv Yar, as in other Ukrainian cities, Russian forces have used missiles to attack and destroy residential buildings, causing many deaths. Here you can see the result of almost three years of Russian attacks (click on them to see a larger version).
