Summer in the beautiful Vigo Estuary is usually mild because this Galician city has a natural air conditioning system: fog.
This Sunday evening we had a magnificent example of the air conditioning that relieves the summer heat. The fog has gradually moved into the Vigo Estuary, bordering Bouzas and the central area of the port. You can see it in this series of photos taken from Castro Mountain. In the photos we see the Bouzas basin (with the Glovis Clipper ro-ro ship moored at its docks), Castro Castle (with the Saliente de Coya viewpoint, a must-see for tourists visiting the city), and the City Hall building, built on the site of the old San Sebastián Castle. In the background appears the Morrazo Peninsula.
You can see the enlarged photos by clicking on them. The photos are arranged in the order in which they were taken.
