What would happen after the destruction of Israel if Islamist terrorism were to win?

The 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001, was recently celebrated.

In that attack, thousands of people were murdered by Islamist terrorists, in a mass crime organized by the Al-Qaeda network. In the following years, other Western countries, including Spain, have repeatedly suffered attacks by Islamist terrorists, attacks characterized by their cruelty and the perpetrators' intention to cause as much damage as possible.

Younger people won't remember it or haven't experienced it, but after each of these attacks, many media outlets and politicians have been warning us against "Islamophobia", messages especially spread by the political and media left. Obviously, a minority of Islamist criminals doesn't make all Muslims guilty, a rejection of unfair generalizations that the left forgets when talking about Christians or Jews.

A few years later came the genocide perpetrated by the Islamist terrorists of ISIS against Christians and Yazidis in the Nineveh Plains in northern Iraq. This time, the far-left even appealed to "Islamophobia" to avoid condemning the genocide. Obviously, a crime of genocide committed by Muslims does not make all Muslims guilty, but appealing to "Islamophobia" to refuse to condemn this crime is an attitude worthy of wretches.

These warnings against "Islamophobia" have become increasingly sinister. When Hamas Islamists perpetrated the worst terrorist attack in Israel's history and the largest antisemitic massacre since the Holocaust, the far left refused to condemn this atrocity, just as it had previously refused to condemn the genocide perpetrated by ISIS against Christians and Yazidis. After urging us not to profess hatred against the religion of the aggressors, the left is now fueling hatred against the religion of the victims.

Just look at what's happened in the last two years: Socialists and communists, hand in hand with Islamism, have unleashed the greatest wave of anti-Semitism in the West since Nazism, in reaction to Israel's response to Hamas, which still refuses to release the Israeli hostages it still holds, while continuing to use civilians in Gaza as human shields. There hasn't been a single leftist demonstration against these Hamas crimes, but the left has even justified violence to protest against Israel.

The attitude of socialists and communists after this anti-Semitic massacre has a perverse logic: This left and this Islamism have as a common denominator the hatred of the West, whose culture has Judeo-Christian roots, roots that socialists and communists have been trying to eradicate for many years. And apparently, the left will do anything to eradicate the Judeo-Christian identity of the West.

The curious thing about this case is to observe the suicidal mentality of the left in this strategic alliance with Islamism, whose penetration into the West is facilitated by socialists and communists by all possible means, without regard for the consequences. For Islamists, an atheist Western leftist is just as deserving of being killed as any Christian or Jew, simply for being an "infidel." When an Islamist perpetrates a massacre in the West, he makes no exceptions for atheist leftists (in fact, Islamists often murder other Muslims because they see them as too moderate or because they belong to another branch of Islam).

In the end, every time the Left gives oxygen to Islamism, what it does is give it the rope with which it will be hanged as soon as it has the slightest opportunity. Now, that same Left intends to recognize a non-existent "Palestinian state" in the Middle East as a reward for perpetrating this massacre against the people of Israel, the only Jewish State and a democratic country for which the Left professes a furious hatred that increasingly recalls the Nazis' hatred of Jews. With this reward, the Western Left is encouraging new anti-Semitic massacres perpetrated by Hamas, a terrorist organization whose founding charter proposes exterminating Jews as well as Christians in its Article 13.

What do some people think the Islamists would do if they managed to destroy Israel? We Europeans would be next. For these Islamists, we must submit to Islam or die. With this fanatical "Palestinianism," the antisemitic left is feeding a monster that will eventually turn against it. If you have any doubts, you can ask other countries in the region (Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, etc.) why other Arab nations do not want to welcome any Palestinians, while claiming to support their cause. The influence of the most extreme Islamism among the Palestinians means that other Arab nations are already more than fed up with them. Right now, Israel is civilization's first line of defense against this Islamist barbarism.
