The PSOE makes it clear how little they care about the real problems of women

The 'trifles' that progressive feminism ignored while policing the word 'Charo'

Progressive feminism has become a big business but, above all, a parody of itself, a mere meme for making jokes.

The nationality of the murderers of women in Spain: the fact that silences feminists
This is how the extreme left lied to the women with a law that benefits rapists

This Thursday, December 4, the Instituto de las Mujeres (Women's Institute), an agency under the Ministry of Equality (controlled by the PSOE socialists), announced that it is "starting the monitoring of online misogyny with reports of high educational value." The first report, which can be downloaded in PDF by clicking here, has the following subtitle: "An approach to the use of the term “Charo” in the culture of hate."

The 19-page report states that the term "Charo" is "a derogatory category used to refer to left-wing women and/or women with an active presence in digital public spaces, whose use acts as a mechanism for delegitimizing the female voice and discrediting feminist thought." Following the left's growing penchant for censorship and dictating our opinions, this report on the word "Charo" claims it wants to "advance its prevention and eradication."

In short: a public agency paid for by all Spaniards is dedicating our money to monitoring the use of a word on social media, simply because that word bothers the left. And because it bothers them, they intend to eradicate it, ignoring the freedom of expression protected by Article 20 of the Spanish Constitution. It is yet another example of the increasingly pronounced authoritarian drift of the Spanish left, a left that increasingly resembles the fascism it claims to hate.

Reading these things, one has to wonder: Is the word "Charo" among the major problems facing women in Spain? I'm talking about all women, not just those who are PSOE members, who apparently live in a parallel universe. Let's not look far: In October, a girl was gang-raped in Pamplona by a group of immigrants. Leftist feminism remained completely silent about it. The Women's Institute said absolutely nothing about this rape. They must have been very busy checking who was writing tweets that included the word "Charo."

In January, it was revealed that rapes have tripled in five years in Catalonia. Similarly, in May, it was reported that 43.3% of perpetrators of gang rapes are of foreign origin, despite foreigners making up only 14.13% of Spain's population. Two days ago it was also revealed that foreigners commit, proportionally, twice as many murders of women as Spaniards. This data particularly highlights the effects of uncontrolled immigration, especially from Islamic countries, where women face severe discrimination. The Women's Institute has not even issued a brief statement on this matter.

Furthermore, two years ago we learned that Organic Law 10/2022, promoted by the government of Pedro Sánchez, resulted in 1,233 sentence reductions for sexual aggressors, a scandalous fact, especially considering that the government has been boasting of being "feminist". The Women's Institute has not made a single criticism of this disastrous law, which has put victims at serious risk.

Three months ago, the scandal of the anti-abuse bracelets purchased by the government came to light. The government decided to replace those manufactured by an Israeli company, for purely ideological reasons, with defective bracelets that put victims of abuse at serious risk. The government was aware of the flaws and concealed them. On September 24, as a consequence of that scandal, the Congress of Deputies censured the Minister of Equality, the Socialist Ana Redondo, and called for her resignation. The Women's Institute also remained silent on the scandal, since it ultimately falls under the Ministry of Equality.

Similarly, the Women's Institute has also remained silent on the prostitution scandals involving socialists, and on the recent scandal that erupted after it was revealed that the PSOE covered up the sexual harassment allegations against one of its leaders. The aforementioned body, controlled by the Socialists, has also said absolutely nothing about the escape to Cuba of a far-left politician who raped and savagely assaulted a minor girl. Apparently, this body was far too busy monitoring the use of the word "Charo" to concern itself with "trifles" like the ones we just reviewed. This is how the Spanish left defends women.
