The destruction of a Russian Army tank by Ukrainian forces from a drone view

When the Russian Army began its invasion of Ukraine on Thursday, February 24, it surely did not imagine the tenacious resistance it would face.

This Wednesday afternoon some images were released showing the extent to which Russian tanks are facing very complicated tactical situations. The video was posted by the Azov Regiment of the Ukrainian National Guard on its Telegram channel, and shows a Russian tank being ambushed by Ukrainian forces. I suppose that the images were recorded in the city of Mariupol, which has been under a strong siege by the Russian Army for two weeks, since the aforementioned Telegram channel belongs to the separate special purpose detachment of said regiment in that city.

The video is very sharp and shows, from a drone view, two missile attacks on the Russian tank in the first 15 seconds. The two collide in the rear of the vehicle. At that moment, the tank reverses but loses the left chain, probably broken due to one of the impacts. After that, the turret receives another hit, apparently from a smaller caliber weapon.

The gunner's (on the left side of the turret) and driver's (in front of the turret) hatches open. At 42 seconds, a new sequence begins (rotated 180º from the previous one) with a large explosion in the tank, apparently a missile that hit the back of the vehicle. As soon as the smoke from the explosion clears, the driver of the vehicle is seen leaving and fleeing. After a new explosion, the driver is seen crawling on the ground. At the end of the video another Russian tank is also destroyed.
