Having a professional armed forces, the US invests considerable means in its recruitment campaigns, with luxurious television advertisements.
A good example of this is this 60-second commercial released a few days ago by the United States Air Force (USAF), which includes F-35 Lightning II, F-22 Raptor and F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters, an attack aircraft A-10 Thunderbolt II, a MV-22 Osprey convertiplane, a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, and a B-2 Spirit bomber. Much to my chagrin, they forgot to post a picture of my favorite fighter: the F-15 Eagle.
On the occasion of the recent premiere of "Top Gun: Maverick", the commercial serves, incidentally, to attract those future pilots who impose too much respect on landing on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier.
