The massacre of last Sunday against the Catholics in Owo, Nigeria, will not be condemned in the Madrid Assembly because the left refuses to do so.

New massacre against Catholics in Nigeria: a genocide that has been hidden for years
Shame in the EU: the left refuses to talk about the persecution to Christians

This has been denounced by the Vox parliamentary group in that Assembly. Vox was the author of the initiative, which sought to condemn "with the utmost forcefulness" the violence exercised against Christians around the world and especially in Nigeria after that massacre. In the text, Vox also called on the Spanish government to take the necessary measures to guarantee respect for the Christian faith and for Spain to participate in international security missions against jihadism.

"It is not the first time that Islamic fundamentalism has raged against Christians in Nigeria," warned the text proposed by Vox. Let us remember that the Christian communities in Nigeria, both Catholic and Evangelical, have been suffering a real genocide for years at the hands of Islamist terrorist groups. Vox has also recalled the case of the murder of the young Christian Deborah Samuel, also in Nigeria, when a mob of Islamist students beat her and burned her to death, allegedly for posting a message insulting Islam and Muhammad in a WhatsApp group.

Vox has denounced that this institutional declaration "has been overthrown by groups on the left." The same groups that are always quick to condemn "Islamophobia" but refuse to condemn and are even dedicated to encouraging hatred of Christians both inside and outside our borders.

What happened yesterday in the Assembly of Madrid: last month in the European Parliament, the left also refused to hold a debate on the persecution of Christians, precisely as a result of the murder of Deborah Samuel. Among the parties that voted against were the partners of the Spanish government: the socialists of the PSOE and the communists of Podemos.

What happened yesterday in the Madrid Assembly is not exceptional: last month in the European Parliament, the left also refused to hold a debate on the persecution of Christians, precisely as a result of the murder of Deborah Samuel. Among the parties that voted against were the partners of the Spanish government: the socialists of the PSOE and the communists of Podemos.
