A “Wow!” was heard seeing the plane making an almost inverted flight

The exhibition of a Spanish Airbus A400M Atlas that has stunned the British public

After two years of absence, the Royal International Air Tatoo (RIAT), one of the largest airshows in the world, has celebrated a new edition.

One of the most striking exhibits that have been seen in this year's edition has featured an Airbus A400M-180 Atlas with provisional Spanish registration EC-400 (cn 065), an aircraft owned by Airbus and which is scheduled to be delivered to the Royal Air Force (RAF), but which has been with that provisional registration for several years and has the Flag of Spain. In its drift it carries a commemorative emblem of the centenary of the RAF. This model is proving to be an exceptional transport aircraft, as was already proven in the evacuation operation from Afghanistan in 2021.

Its performance is very good and it is capable of performing maneuvers that many would not expect from a transport aircraft of its size. At the RIAT, the EC-400 make an exhibition that has stunned the British public, including a truly amazing short runway landing. Knight Flight has published the video of this exhibition:

Starting at minute 4:00, there is a moment in the video that is really impressive.At first the plane becomes perpendicular to the ground, a maneuver that risks losing lift:

But if that wasn't enough, the A400M ended up making an almost inverted flight for a few moments, causing the commentator to exclaim "Wow!". A maneuver that the A400M can afford due to its short wingspan and the great power of its four engines:
