Spain contributed three ships to this exercise: the amphibious aircraft carrier "Juan Carlos I" L-61, the amphibious assault ship "Castilla" L-52 and the frigate "Navarra" F-85. The deployment has included forces from the Spanish Marine Infantry embarked on the first two ships, with a total of 600 soldiers and 90 amphibious vehicles, as well as assault ships and landing craft. The Spanish Navy Aircraft Fleet also participated in the exercise, with Harrier II Plus fighters and SH-60 Seahawk and AB-212 helicopters.

As for the US Navy, its combat group has been led by the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), of the Nimitz class. This aircraft carrier and the US Navy, via the multimedia portal DVIDShub. net, have published some spectacular photos of this exercise, carried out in the waters of the Ionian Sea, one of the arms of the Mediterranean Sea.

Two other images of this resupply operation. This is the first time I have seen such an operation with Spanish Navy fighters.
