Both in Spain and in Poland, being two Catholic countries, there is a tradition of visiting the graves of loved ones at the beginning of November.
This tradition, linked to the dates of November 1, All Saints' Day, and December 2, All Souls' Day, causes the cemeteries of Spain and Poland to be filled with flowers and candles in memory of the deceased. On the occasion of these dates, the Historic-Cultural Association "Poland First to Fight", which is dedicated to promoting the struggle in Poland for their freedom, has paid tribute to three Polish combatants of the World War II who are buried in various cemeteries in the Community of Madrid.
