The effects of feeding hatred for those who disagree with the left for decades

Leftist fanatics demonstrate their hate with the death of Ayuso's unborn son

The left has spent years identifying the right with "hate" for the mere fact of disagreeing with leftist dogmas.

This morning the sad news of the death of the unborn son of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, a leader of the Popular Party and president of the Community of Madrid. I have disagreed with her many times and I will continue to do so, but today I want to convey her my condolences and my embrace in the face of this terrible news. Losing a child, both born and unborn, is one of the worst things that can happen to a mother, and at a time like this all I can think of are words of support, affection and encouragement.

Unfortunately, there is a part of Spanish society that has forgotten empathy - that ability to identify with the suffering of others - and has replaced it with political fanaticism. Today, on social networks, a multitude of miserable left-wingers have written messages mocking the death of Ayuso's son. Some examples can be seen in the responses to this tweet from the socialist newspaper El País and in this Facebook entry from that same outlet. In all honesty, it must be said that many people on the left have also written messages of support for Ayuso, of course.

The most influential people on the left, politically and in the media, should reflect on these jokes against Ayuso. Some have spent decades transmitting the perverse idea that being on the left makes you a good person and that, on the contrary, being on the right is synonymous with hatred, evil, intolerance and all evils possible. The mere fact of disagreeing is seen by the left as an act of evil, which receives much more criticism than the left directs, for example, at Bildu, a party that continues to refuse to condemn the murders of the terrorist group ETA.

With this absurd and false vision of society, they have contributed to demonizing all of us who are not on the left, fueling the hatred and violence of the most extremist left. An extremism that the left does not even recognize. How many left-wing politicians and media even admit the existence of the extreme left? How many of them have criticized, for example, that there are communists -even a vice-president of the government- supporting dictatorships?

It is useless for some people on the left to criticize these taunts against Ayuso today while they continue to feed that dangerous rhetoric that divides society into good and bad according to their political opinions. There are bad people from the left, from the right and from the center, with religious beliefs or supporters of atheism. Having a certain way of thinking, certain beliefs or a certain philosophy does not shield you from the temptation to give in before the evil The same left that identifies its rivals with hatred has dedicated itself to feeding it for decades, making its own believe that hating those who think differently is something positive and necessary. Where is the limit? When will they stop feeding that hate speech to those who disagree with them?
