Spain has many fascinating and hidden sites, which had the most varied uses in the past and are now abandoned.
Last night, Aventuras Entresierras (I never tire of recommending that you subscribe to this excellent channel Youtube) published an interesting video touring an underground gallery built in the 16th century with semicircular arches, which gives it an image as if it were a church. Aventuras Entresierras has not revealed its location to prevent this difficult-to-access place from suffering further deterioration. In the video you can see what this curious artificial cave was used for (the video is in Spanish, you can activate the automatic subtitles in English in the bottom bar of the player):
Here we can see two captures of the video. In the first we see Alfred in front of the small entrance to this gallery. From his look, it seems that he is saying to his adventure partner: "wouldn't it be better to go bathe on a beach?" 😄
The interior of the gallery. As you can see, some stupid person has dedicated himself to making graffiti inside it, thus leaving proof of his lack of respect for such an old building. It is sad to see the lack of civility that some exhibit. That is why the author of the video has preferred not to reveal the location.
