In search of the origin of two enigmatic and dangerous wells in a forest in Ireland

Ireland is a country with a rich mythology, and if you find a deep hole in a forest on that island, your imagination takes flight.

Stephen J. Reid he didn't find one deep hole, but two. He found them in the middle of an Irish forest, whose location he does not indicate, because they are two enigmatic and also dangerous wells. The deepest of them is 20 meters deep, so if someone accidentally fell there, they would most likely die without anyone knowing what became of that person.

A few days ago, Stephen published an interesting video in which he reviews the research he did to find the origin of these wells and shows them from the inside, thanks to a GoPro camera that he inserted into them using a rope . Perhaps they were home to a banshee, a pooka, a grogoch or some other legendary creature of Ireland? I will not reveal the mystery to you, Stephen indicates it in the video. And this is the second well, more irregular in shape and shallower. Both wells are full of water.

Near the wells there are some abandoned and ruined houses. These houses are very old, they have been abandoned for more than a century.
