Yesterday, the city of Valencia was the scene of a demonstration called by the left following the catastrophe of the cold drop.
The aim of the demonstration was clear: to concentrate all the discontent over the catastrophe on the Valencian government (of the Popular Party) and especially on its president, Carlos Mazón, and to protect Sánchez's government from all criticism. The left-wing activists fulfilled these objectives very scrupulously, to the point that showing a banner criticizing Mazón and also Sánchez was a reason for leftists to call the police, as we can see in the following video shared by @JosPastr:

Unlike what happened in many demonstrations in Madrid, where the police have been completely sealing off the national headquarters of the PSOE on Ferraz Street to prevent any protester from approaching it, yesterday the police allowed protesters to vandalise the headquarters of the regional government of Valencia, obviously following orders from the Government Delegation, in the hands of the socialists:

Finally, when some of the protesters tried to set fire to the Valencia City Hall, the police finally charged against the violent ones:
Maravilloso.

As a result of these violent acts, 31 police officers have been injured and 4 people have been arrested. For much less than this, the PSOE and its related media have criminalized other demonstrations when they were of the opposite sign. But things change when the violence comes from the left and erupts from a demonstration to protect Sánchez from all criticism, which was the meaning of that call, although many clueless people joined it without knowing what it was about.
Neither the Sánchez government nor the PSOE have condemned the acts of violence that occurred yesterday at that demonstration. Nor have they shown their solidarity and support for the 31 police officers who were injured. If they did, they would spoil the objective of this crude political operation, aimed at concentrating all the criticism on Mazón (who certainly has reasons to resign for his poor management) and preventing criticism from being directed against Sánchez and his ministers, who have as much or more reasons than Mazón to resign for their late response to this catastrophe, a delay that aggravated the effects of the cold drop and which just a week ago caused the anger of the residents of Paiporta against Pedro Sánchez.
