Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has not been invited to Trump's inauguration ceremony as US President.
Significantly, Trump has invited Santiago Abascal, president of Vox, the third most voted party in Spain and the only one that supported the Republican leader's candidacy for the White House. Sanchez is now collecting the results of his friendly relationship with all kinds of dictators and sponsors of terrorism.
Yesterday, Sanchez described Trump and his inauguration guests as the "ultra-right international", stating that they "don't have the most important thing in democracy: the power of the vote".
Sanchez's statement is as stupid as it is false, if we take into account that Trump has won the elections in his country with 77.3 million votes (49.87%), the best result in the electoral college for a Republican candidate since George H. W. Bush in 1988. On the contrary, in 2023 Sánchez lost the elections in Spain with 7.8 million votes (31.68%), buying the support for his re-election with the money of all Spaniards and with openly corrupt and unconstitutional measures such as the amnesty for its separatist partners convicted for the 2017 coup in Catalonia.
Furthermore, if two democratic leaders like Trump and Abascal are an "ultra-right international", as Sánchez claims (who has among his allies the supporters of dictatorships like Cuba and Venezuela and the heirs of the terrorist group ETA), what should we call the international of dictators and sponsors of terrorism that Sánchez is cultivating? Let's look at some examples.
Sánchez with Xi Jinping, the dictator of the People's Republic of China, a totalitarian regime responsible for one of the largest genocides in history.
Sánchez with Miguel Díaz-Canel, dictator of Cuba, a totalitarian communist regime that has governed that island without free elections since 1959, violating human rights and torturing political dissidents.
Pedro Sánchez with Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, absolute monarch of Qatar, an Islamic dictatorship where political parties are banned and there are no free elections, which persecutes Christians, discriminates against women and punishes homosexuality with prison, in addition to being one of the main sponsors of the terrorist organization Hamas.
Pedro Sánchez with Hassan Rouhani, dictator of Iran between 2013 and 2021, an Islamist regime that has murdered tens of thousands of people for political reasons, brutally discriminates against women, persecutes Christians, hangs homosexuals and is one of the world's main promoters of Islamist terrorism.
Pedro Sánchez with Mahmoud Abbas, dictator of the Palestinian National Authority, which governs Judea and Samaria (also known as the West Bank) without holding elections since 2006.
Sánchez with Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, dictator of Egypt since 2014, a position he assumed after a coup d'état in 2012.
Sanchez with Mohamed bin Salman, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, an absolute monarchy that promotes Salafi Islam, persecutes Christians, discriminates against women and imprisons homosexuals.
Sánchez with Turkish dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan, an ally and sponsor of Hamas, who has described that terrorist group as a "liberation group" after the massacre perpetrated by those criminals against Israel on October 7, 2023, the greatest massacre suffered by the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
Sánchez with the communist Gustavo Petro, a former member of the terrorist group M-19 whose campaign to win the presidency of Colombia was financed itself with money from drug trafficking and smuggling, and once in power dedicated himself to destroying democracy in that country, with authoritarian gestures that are increasingly similar to those of Sánchez.
