The PCE attacks NATO but avoids criticizing Vladimir Putin in a manifesto

Sánchez's communist partners talk about the war in Ukraine without mentioning Russia

Pedro Sánchez is the first president of the current Spanish democracy to have brought communist militants into the government.

The communists do for Russia and Hamas what they already did for Nazi Germany in 1940

To this day, Spain is the only country in Europe that has in its government defenders of a totalitarian ideology, specifically communism, an anti-democratic movement that has caused more than 100 million deaths (perpetrating some of the largest genocides in history) and that still maintains dictatorships that oppress 20% of the human population, in countries such as China, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, Nicaragua and Eritrea.

Since its founding, communism has demonstrated an inexhaustible capacity for using lies for political purposes. To give a few examples, this totalitarian movement had the audacity to call brutal dictatorships "democratic republics" and to describe the Berlin Wall, built to prevent the population of East Germany from escaping their communist tyrants, as an "anti-fascist protection wall." This movement's capacity to twist and manipulate facts continues to reach astonishing extremes.

The PCE cites the war in Ukraine, criticizing NATO but not Russia

Let's look at an example. A few days ago, the Spanish Communist Party (PCE), to which Vice President Yolanda Díaz and Minister Sira Rego belong, published a manifesto for April 14, the anniversary of the proclamation of the Second Republic in 1931. In that manifesto, the PCE states: "We call for the defense of peace, no to war!" The manifesto says the following:

We find ourselves in a complex and difficult time. A war in Eastern Europe. And EU governments submitting to NATO's demands, against the interests of their people. In the Middle East, for two and a half years now, we have been witnessing the genocide of the Palestinian people perpetrated by the criminal Israeli regime, with the explicit sponsorship of the United States and the complicity of the European Union.

So, first of all, the PCE talks about the war in Ukraine, demonizing the EU and NATO, but says nothing about Russia, the aggressor country. Coincidentally, Russia is an ally of communist dictatorships like Cuba, China, and North Korea: could that be why the PCE says nothing about Putin's dictatorship, but attacks NATO?

The PCE's hatred toward a democratic country attacked by terrorists

On the other hand, the PCE does not even mention Putin's dictatorship but calls a democratic country, the State of Israel, a "criminal Israeli regime," which on October 7, 2023, suffered a serious attack by the terrorists of Hamas (supported by Iran, also an ally of Russia), who perpetrated the greatest massacre suffered by the Jewish people since the Holocaust: a massacre that the PCE does not even mention (do Jewish lives not matter?), while slandering the attacked country by falsely accusing it of committing "genocide", a word that the PCE has not used even once to accuse Putin, whose army has been committing all kinds of atrocities against the civilian population of Ukraine for three years.

With this infamous manifesto, the PCE has once again shown what it is: a totalitarian party that is more comfortable with dictators than with democrats, a party that lies with absolute shamelessness and has the nerve to talk about two wars without naming the aggressors, simply because it shares their hatred of the West. The fact that Pedro Sánchez has these totalitarians as government partners says a lot about his true understanding of democracy and explains the work of demolishing the rule of law that he is carrying out in Spain.
