In the early hours of Friday, June 13, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched an operation against the Iranian dictatorship.

This operation, called "Am Kalavi" (rampant lion in Hebrew), has had as its main objective the nuclear program of this Islamist dictatorship and its surface-to-surface missile launch systems, with which the Tehran regime has been launching attacks against the civilian population of Israel for some time. This operation has been explained as follows by the Israel Defense Forces in your website:

For years, the Iranian regime has promoted direct and indirect terrorism against the State of Israel through the development of nuclear weapons, the development of advanced, long-range missiles and warheads, and the financing and promotion of terrorist groups throughout the Middle East.

The desire to destroy the State of Israel has been rooted in the principles of the Iranian extremist regime since its inception, and its leaders have publicly stated this. In recent years, and even more so since the start of the war, the Intelligence Division has collected and analyzed numerous intelligence materials that point to a concrete plan by the Iranian regime to "destroy Israel."

In parallel with its efforts to obtain nuclear weapons, the Iranian regime is producing tens of thousands of missiles and drones and promoting plans for a combined ground attack from several theaters simultaneously.

Many materials seized throughout the war show coordination between the Iranian regime and the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, even after the October coup, during which the regime planned to rearm them.

The State of Israel has no choice: The Israel Defense Forces have a duty to act to protect the citizens of Israel and we will continue to do so.

Four hours ago, the IDF released a video showing the destruction of several Iranian surface-to-surface missile launchers, which were attacked by Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets:

In this video we can see the plan of the Israeli airstrikes against the Iranian nuclear plant of Natanz, the largest uranium enrichment site of that Islamist dictatorship with the aim of obtaining nuclear weapons:

The IDF has noted: "The Iranian regime's missile arsenal contains missiles with a range of thousands of kilometers. Leaving these missiles in the hands of the Iranian regime poses a danger to the region and the entire world." A global danger to which only Israel has reacted, as it is the country most directly threatened by the terrorist regime in Tehran.

The IDF has also shown the aircraft used in this operation. Above we see a video of the F-35i Adir fighters taking off from one of the IAF bases. Below we can see another video that includes images of F-35i, F-16, and F-15 fighters

You can see some screenshots from these videos and some photos published by the IDF here, showing the fighters jet used in this operation and some details about them (click on the images to see them enlarged):

Two F-15I Ra'am fighter-bombers, the Israeli version of the F-15E Strike Eagle. Both aircraft are armed with two AIM-7 Sparrow medium-range air-to-air missiles on their fuselage struts and two 925 kg Mk-84 JDAM guided bombs on the underwing struts, in addition to an external fuel tank on the ventral strut.

An F-15C Baz fighter from 133 Squadron "Knights of the Twin Tail", in a hangar, likely at its base in Tel Nof. It carries two Mk-84 JDAM guided bombs under its wings. A Rafael Python short-range air-to-air missile can also be seen on the port wing. An AIM-7 Sparrow missile is mounted on the starboard fuselage rack.

An F-16C Barak fighter from the 101st Squadron "First Fighter" landing, likely at its base in Ramat David. We see a JDAM bomb on an underwing rack on its starboard wing and an AIM-9 Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missile on the marginal rack.

Two F-16I Sufa fighters (the Israeli version of the two-seat F-16DJ Block 52) of the 107 Squadron "Knights of the Orange Tail", the 833rd and 891st, based at Hatzerim. Both aircraft carry AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles on their wing mounts and Rafael Python missiles on underwing mounts. The aircraft on the left, the 833rd, carries an AN/AAQ-28 Litening target designator under the fuselage, on the mount next to the air intake.

One of the F-16I Sufa fighters in the previous photo, 833. We see the AN/AAQ-28 Litening target designator in closer detail next to the air intake. A Rafael Python missile is mounted on the underwing mount of its port wing.

An F-16I Sufa in its hangar. We see its starboard wing, with an AIM-9 Sidewinder missile on its marginal mount and a Rafael Python missile on the external underwing mount.

We conclude this article with two photos of F-35i Adir fighters from the 140th "Golden Eagle" Squadron, likely at their base in Nevatim. In this case, we don't see any external weapons: all the weapons are stored in the aircraft's internal bays, to take full advantage of its stealth capabilities.
