After demanding a truce to hold a parade in Moscow, Putin's dictatorship has escalated its criminal scandal against Ukraine.

Russia launches new and bloody terrorist attacks targeting civilians in Ukraine

+ UPDATED 10:53 AM: This morning, at 9:10 AM CET, Zelensky has confirmed that the death toll from this attack has risen to 24 people, including 3 children.

This morning at 11:28 CET, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that Russia launched 1,567 drones and 56 missiles against Ukraine in the previous 38 hours, in one of the largest Russian airstrikes ever recorded, just after the ceasefire called by Putin's regime for the May 9th parade in Moscow. Ukraine managed to shoot down 1,473 drones and 41 missiles, demonstrating once again the high level of effectiveness of Ukrainian air defenses. Once again, the bulk of this Russian attack was directed against the civilian population.

The President of Ukraine has denounced that Russia has hit more than 50 residential buildings. Volodymyr Zelenskyy has published this video showing the aftermath of the Russian attack on civilian buildings, as well as a vehicle from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs that was attacked with FPV drones in Kherson, so the invaders knew perfectly well that they were attacking a vehicle on a humanitarian mission.

This Thursday at 3:38 PM CET, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that eight people have been killed and 45 wounded in this attack. Search and rescue operations are currently ongoing in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv, so the death toll could rise. The Stratcom Center of Ukraine has indicated that one of the victims is a 12-year-old girl, found among the ruins of a building in the Darnytsia district, as confirmed by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. If it weren't for the Ukrainian defenses, the death toll would be much higher. Alongside these lines, we can see two videos published by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine showing the recovery of bodies from the rubble in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv.

In the following video, published by the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, we can see the complete destruction of a residential building in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv, as a result of this latest Russian attack against the civilian population of Ukraine. This is further proof that Putin is implementing and expanding a purely terrorist strategy with which Russia is trying to compensate for its failures on the front lines by murdering civilians behind them. As it has been doing since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Russia is once again demonstrating that it is a terrorist state, and deserves to be treated as such. Democratic countries should sever all ties with this regime, which only uses its network of embassies to spread propaganda to justify its crimes.

Once again, in Spain, most media outlets have published nothing about this attack, as has been the case for some time with the repeated Russian attacks against the civilian population of Ukraine. Likewise, the reaction among the Spanish political class to this attack has been nonexistent. Despite the fact that images of the Russian attack have been circulating since this morning, neither the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, nor his Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, have condemned this attack. They haven't even mentioned it. A silence that contrasts with their constant messages condemning Israel, but which fits with their international alliances: Sánchez is a staunch ally of communist China, which is Russia's main ally.
