On the list there are regimes that did not condemn the Hamas attack
Many Spaniards have not yet realized the disastrous international position that Pedro Sánchez's government has taken against Israel.
Two ministers who rejected the European condemnation of nazism and communism now falsely accuse Israel of 'genocide'
Hundreds of jurists from 22 nations accuse Hamas of crimes of genocide against Israel
The only EU government with members that do not condemn the Hamas attack
In recent days, the far-left ministers Ione Belarra and Irene Montero have repeatedly accused Israel of "genocide". Montero has gone even further, claiming that Israel is committing a "planned genocide". While they launch slanderous accusations against Israel after having suffered the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, last Thursday we saw how the party of Belarra and Montero, Podemos, voted against the European condemnation of the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel. To the shame of the millions of Spaniards who condemn Hamas's terrorism, Spain has the only government in the European Union formed by a party that has not condemned this terrorist attack.
Venezuela, Palestine, Iran and Turkey, the other four regimes on the list
It must be said that the government of Pedro Sánchez - which is responsible for these ministers remaining in their positions - is not the only government that has launched these false accusations against Israel, reflected in the international media. In the last two weeks these other governments have launched the same false accusation against Israel:
- On October 10, the Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro accused Israel of "genocide". Like the Spanish ministers of Podemos, the Maduro regime has not condemned the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel. On October 7, the same day that Hamas terrorists murdered, tortured, raped and kidnapped hundreds of unarmed civilians in Israel, the Venezuelan government published a statement that did not even mention the terrorist attack and limited itself to expressing "its deep concern about the evolution of recent events in the Gaza Strip."
- On October 13, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh accused Israel of "genocide". Shtayyeh is a member of Fatah, a party that has ruled the West Bank since 2006 without new elections having been held since then. That is, a dictatorship. The Palestinian government has not condemned the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel and the terrorist wing of Fatah even has celebrated it. Last Thursday, an official document of the government chaired by Shtayyeh called for the extermination of the Jews. That is planning a genocide.
- On October 13, Iranian dictator Ebrahim Raisi accused Israel of "genocide". This is no surprise, considering that Iran is the main supporter of Hamas terrorists. The dictatorship celebrated and supported openly the terrorist attacks of October 7 against Israel, in statements made the same day of the attack. Iran is under a dictatorship that not only violates the human rights of Iranian citizens (in the recent protests in the country, the Iranian regime murdered more than 500 protesters, including 71 children), but It is also dedicated to supporting terrorist groups in several countries: Hezbollah in Lebanon, Al Sabirín and Hamas in Gaza, Islamic Jihad in Palestine and Islamist terrorists in Bahrain.
- On October 21, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Israel's operations in Gaza are approaching "genocide". Interestingly, it is the same accusation that Erdogan received from a US senator for his massacres of Kurds in Suria. The position of the Erdogan regime on this matter is no surprise, if you take into account that Turkey It has been supporting Hamas with financial and logistical aid, and even allowing that terrorist group to operate from Turkey and install a recruitment center there. That is why Erdogan has not condemned the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel.
It is worth asking if these are the international references of the Podemos ministers in matters of terrorism and human rights. With their infamous statements in recent days, these ministers have brought Spain to the shame of being the only European country that slanders Israel after the massacre of October 7 and that aligns itself in foreign policy with regimes that openly support Palestinian terrorism. It will not take long to see the repercussions that this shameful position will have for Spain.
