There are people who believe themselves intellectually superior to others and yet hold discourses that are an insult to the most basic logic.
A sick demonization of men
The newspaper El Mundo, a media outlet that has been promoting woke discourse aimed at right-wing people for decades, has published an interview with Chilean surgeon James Hamilton. The interviewer, Rodrigo Terrasa, displays an astonishing rapport with the interviewee when he says things like the following:
This demonization of men has reached unhealthy levels. When the interviewer asks: "Is evil a cancer?" Hamilton answers: "The worst. And curiously, we males cause it." These statements are made by a surgeon, I insist, and he pronounces them as if they were scientific facts, as if science supported something as illogical as demonizing billions of people simply for being male.
What would happen if a race were demonized in this way instead of a sex?
Now let's think for a moment what would happen if El Mundo interviewed someone who said that "black people are biologically worse" and that "they are an evolutionary mistake". It would be a scandal, and rightly so, since millions of people do not deserve to be demonized simply for having a certain skin color. Curiously, wokism criticizes the demonization of millions of people for their race, but thinks it's fine to demonize millions of people for having a penis, when in both cases it is the same garbage speech.
Would we see an interviewer from El Mundo show that rapport with an interviewee who demonizes millions of people for their race, their place of origin, for being nearsighted, or for being blond, redheaded, bald, or short? Wokism considers that there is "hate speech" when you make racist, xenophobic, or misogynistic statements, but there is no such thing as misandric statements, that is, those that promote hatred against others simply for being male.
A wave of stupidity
It's worth remembering the obvious. While that guy (I refuse to call someone who says such nonsense in public "doctor") demonizes billions of people for having penises, there are countless men looking after our safety (police officers, soldiers, sailors, airmen), saving lives (firefighters, doctors, nurses, first responders), helping others, taking care of their families, and living honorable lives. What right is there to demonize so many good people for the sake of a misandric feminism?
We've been putting up with this kind of talk for years, and honestly, I'm fed up with charlatans who demonize men for their sex, just as fed up with other charlatans who demonize millions of people for their race, nationality, birthplace, or even their date of birth (like the morons now criticizing you for being a "boomer"). Talk that demonizes millions of human beings for characteristics that aren't chosen — like sex, skin color, birthplace, or age— is spreading like a wave of stupidity.
An old obsession of the left
In this case, El Mundo has published a typical progressive identity-based discourse, laced with old mantras of that ideology, such as claiming that the world cannot support "more humans" because "the planet's resources are limited." A claim that ignores the fact that resources grow in tandem with the population. Humanity's resource consumption is not a zero-sum game, otherwise, humans would not have survived the demographic growth that occurred from the caveman era to ancient Egypt and Greece.
It should be noted that the left has a real obsession with the myth of overpopulation, an obsession that for decades has driven neo-Malthusian policies that included the mass promotion of abortion (coincidentally, ten years ago Hamilton criticized the Catholic Church for speaking out against abortion). As we are already seeing in Europe, these policies are causing a demographic suicide with terrible economic effects, since a society with an inverted population pyramid, with an ever-decreasing working population supporting an ever-increasing dependent population, is unsustainable. Instead of recognizing their grave error, the neo-Malthusian charlatans insist on their apocalyptic speeches. Speeches as pseudoscientific as demonizing millions of people for being men.
