These young Americans, wearing civilian clothes and volunteering in their spare time, have helped paint the walls of that church built in the fifteenth century.

The images that you can see in this post were published yesterday by the multimedia portal DVIDSHUB of the United States Armed Forces. We see the Marines in their work of painting in some photos taken last March 6 by Sergeant Takoune.

These marines are members of the Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa (SP-MAGTF-CR-AF), a unit composed of 850 Marines and also by members of the US Navy. It has been deployed since April 2013 at the Air Base of Morón de la Frontera (Seville).

The SP-MAGTF-CR-AF is an expeditionary force whose purpose is to provide a rapid response to any crisis in Europe or Africa. Organically it depend on the U.S. Africa Command (USAG) based in Stuttgart, Germany.

My applause and my gratitude as a Spaniard and as a Catholic to these young Marines for this volunteer work. God bless you!
