Women will have to compete with trans men in physical tests

The women's rights that the Trans Law now provides to any man in Spain

A few days ago the crazy Trans Law came into force in Spain, a regulation loaded with ideology and promoted by the ultra-left party Podemos.

Trans Law: heavy fines for not allowing trans men to access women's locker rooms in Spain
The new favor to rapists approved by the Spanish left-wing with applause

A law that facilitates access to female spaces for rapists

On February 19 we have already seen here the consequences that this law will have for the safety of Spanish women, since it allows changing the sex in the Civil Registry just by asking, without presenting any report doctor. Any rapist will be able to say they are a woman and they will have to give them access to female locker rooms and showers, and anyone who denies you access will face heavy fines. It is a new favor for sexual offenders done by a government whose "only yes is yes" law has facilitated the lowering of the sentences of more than 700 rapists.

Any man who registers as a woman will enjoy women's rights

But there are other applications of sex change as contemplated in the law that may end up benefiting all men, and not just sexual offenders. Point 2 of Article 46 of the Ley Trans affirms: "The registry rectification will allow the person to exercise all the rights inherent to their new condition." That is, that all men who register as women will be able to exercise rights that were exclusively feminine. This opens up a sea of possibilities for those who want to take advantage of this law.

The advantages in physical tests for the Armed Forces and Security Forces

To give a few examples, the height requirements and the physical tests required of women for access to the Armed Forces and State Security Forces and Corps, as well as other regional police forces and local, are lower than those required of men. Thus, any man who changes her sex in the Civil Registry asking to be a woman will be able to enjoy the same advantages as women. What this will mean is that women who access these positions may be displaced by trans men, who are taller than them and who can easily obtain better scores on physical tests, as This is already the case in female sports disciplines in which trans men are allowed to compete.

Goodbye to female quotas: trans men will be able to occupy them

These advantages will also be applicable to those jobs that reserve female quotas. For example, last year it became known that the EU will impose a 40% quota for women in committees of large companies by 2026 . Likewise, last January, the Spanish government approved bonuses to companies that hire unemployed women instead of men.

The same can be said of the parity law announced by Pedro Sánchez last week, which will impose quotas for women in the Council of Ministers, in the boards of directors of large companies, on government boards in professional associations and on juries of public recognition, as well as "zipper electoral lists", that is, in which men and women have to alternate. From now on, all this will be subject to a simple registry change under the Trans Law.

To give an extreme but possible example, a political party could present an electoral list with 100% men, simply registering in it 50% of men who have changed their sex in the registry even though they have kept their masculine names (something that the Trans Law also allows). Similarly, in a Council of Ministers there could be no women, as long as there are 50% trans men.

A legal erasure of women by people who call themselves feminists

Gender ideology, which is the intellectual engine of this law, is an anti-scientific nonsense that seeks to separate sex from biology. By making this Trans Law based on that ideology, feminists like Irene Montero have contributed to legally erasing the condition of women in Spain. If this had been done by a political party that declared itself "macho", the scandal would have been colossal and the streets of Spain would be on fire. But the feminist left has done it, the one that said to watch over women. Live to see.
