Infamous message from the minister to the Polisario Front, answered from Vox

Ione Belarra congratulates a group that murdered hundreds of Spaniards on its 50th anniversary

The winks from the government of Pedro Sánchez towards unrepentant terrorists are not only limited to Bildu or Gustavo Petro.

A Vox deputy reminds Belarra of the crimes of the Polisario

This Wednesday, the Minister of Social Rights, Ione Belarra (from the far-left Podemos party, a partner of the PSOE in the government), published a message on her Twitter account congratulating the Polisario Front on its 50th anniversary, stating: "All my appreciation to its 50 years of resistance and that of the Saharawi people against the occupation."

The Vox deputy Víctor Sánchez del Real has answered Belarra remembering the minister that the Polisario Front murdered hundreds of Spaniards, crimes committed between 1973 and 1986.

The Polisario murdered above all fishermen and a 14-year-old boy

The Polisario's terrorist offensive against Spain had as its main victims hundreds of fishermen, especially from the Canary Islands, Galicia, the Basque Country and Andalusia, many of whom were machine-gunned by armed Polisario boats. These terrorist attacks even had children as victims, as occurred in the case of the attack on the fishing boat "Cruz del Mar" on November 28, 1978, when the terrorists murdered seven of its crew, including a 14-year-old boy, Sebastián Cañada García.

In addition to the murders, the Polisario also kidnapped Spaniards who were kidnapped, harassed and tortured for four months by terrorists from that group to which now congratulates the minister on its 50th anniversary and for what she calls "resistance", without the Polisario ever asking for forgiveness for those crimes.

The reason for the affinity of Podemos with the Polisario: it is a socialist organization

It is not difficult to find the origin of the affinity between a party of the extreme left like Podemos and the Polisario Front. As I explained here, the Saharawi organization is socialist and in its beginnings was close to communism, receiving the support of Fidel Castro, who was showered with praise by the Polisario after his death in 2016.

In 2020, the Polisario has already received a congratulation from the Communist Party of Spain for its 47th anniversary, omitting any reference to its crimes against Spanish citizens. Currently, the Polisario belongs to the Socialist International, noe chaired by Pedro Sánchez, and the Progressive Alliance, organizations that also include the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), Pedro Sánchez's party.

The Spanish government recognized in 2006 that the Polisario exercised terrorism against Spanish citizens

The fact that a Spanish minister congratulates such an organization is scandalous, especially considering that the government of Spain recognized in 2006 that the Polisario exercised terrorism against Spanish citizens. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, of the PSOE, governed then. The Association Canaria de Víctimas del Terrorismo (Acavite) has pointed out that 289 Canarians have been assassinated by the Polisario since 1974, mostly fishermen. To this day, the victims continue to demand Justice, since the perpetrators of these crimes have not yet been tried. What remained to be seen is a Spanish minister congratulating the criminals.
